THE AUTHOR OF THE TORAH-------------->12:- (THE CRITICS HISTORY)
Another example for the conflict between the Critics, after "Wellhausen" .it was also clear in the different assumptions and results, between"R.H.Pfeiffer" and "B.Baentsch" While "R.H.Pfriffer" was suggesting that, there was an origin for the "TORAH",came from the southern part of the Israelite kingdom ,during the reign of the kings of the kingdom of Judah, that origin was compatible to the opinions of the people of Judah, and because it came from the south he called it "S", thus the "TORAH" was written after that period, because he suggested that ,the origin referred to the date, which followed the division of the kingdom( a later date) . "Eissffeldt" have suggested as we have denoted last essay, that there was an origin called "L"(Lay source), but "R.H.Pfeiffer" put "L" in the contents of [his] "S".Did that part was the oldest as the suggestion of "Eissfeldt" ,or the newest as the suggestion of "R.H.Pfeiffer ????? On the other hand we found "B.Baentsch" who divided the origin to 7 divisions ,one of them called "P"(from Priest) and wrote his opinion in his book"Leviticus" at 1900, to express his opinion ,that that origin ,was somehow not the oldest ,and sure not the newest,Was it new or old ??was it "P" or "L" or "S" ?????? After that time"C.A.Simpson"wrote his book"The Early Traditions of Israel.a Critical Analysis of The Pre Deuteronomic Narrative of Hexateuch," at 1948 to defend and answer about the critics questions, and to deal with their critical tendencies,( although we did not agree about some other opinions, which he have recorded it in his book ). "Simpson was not the only one who produced some proves against the critics, but many other writers have done the same , The tools of the studies improved, The archeological discoveries increased, as we shall see after 4 essays, but let us complete tomorrow with the critics Rev.Joseph
