THE AUTHOR OF THE TORAH---------------->13:- (THE CRITICS HISTORY)
The book of Deuteronomy, was subjected to many researches, for some reasons:- (1)Because it contained , in its contents,a total revision,or what seemed to be a revision, about the history and the instructions during "Moses"times . (2)Because it concentrated on the ritual activities, and the legal laws, and the duties of the priests in worship and in society. (3)The last song of "Moses"at chapter 32 and its content and style . (4)The story of "Moses'" death at the end of the book. At 1925 "Moller" when he was defending about the idea of writing the "TORAH",.which was written by "Moses" ,that he agreed also with the opinion that respected the Deuteronomy, as a complete right reflection to what was mentioned in the first four books of the "TORAH", but it had not any modern reflection, or any added modern contents . Therefor it was written according to his thoughts, by "Moses"himself ,at the time of his life . At1963"Meredith.G.Kline" invented a strange idea ,about the reason of writing the "TORAH".It was in his suggestion ,that the "TORAH"reflected a general kind of discussion, between the Israelite and a Hittite prince, because he observed the general view of the "Mosaic"doctrine ,which was written in a systematic style, as a general report !!!!? Some contents in the book of the Deuteronomy, which reported the origin of the Jewish nation ,and their legal system ,and the type of their political religious government ,led him to that opinion. But he failed to give us the name of that prince,or the reason of that argument, or the sources that he had depended upon it,to suggest his opinion. Generally he had some active thoughts about the book ,as a book which had a systematic style more than the other four books, and it contained a full sufficient idea about the "Mosaic" beliefs and practice. The background history which "Kline" described, gave us opinion that he was assuring his trust in the book's contents, and the history events which is concluded in the Deuteronomy . Next three essays we will discuss the different forms of the critics, to replay using our modern analysis,.after that Rev.Joseph .
